Rules of the race

All participants have to follow the route designated by the organizer. Regardless of the condition, participants have to walk along the route and should not walk on shortcuts, otherwise, the qualification of those who violate will be nullified. |

All participants should be arrived at the checkpoint of Ha Miu Tin 6 hours and the endpoint of Wu Kau Tang 10.5 hours after the start of the marathon. |
3. |
Due to safety reasons, if participants are unable to arrive at the checkpoint of Ha Miu Tin at the designated time, the unfinished part will be cancelled and the record card will be called back. The participant will be arranged to return to the endpoint of Wu Kau Tang via Ha Miu Tin and Kau Tam Tso. |
4. |
If number clothes or record card is lost before the race, HK$20 administration fee is required for replacement. |
5. |
If number clothes or record card is lost during the race, qualification of participant will be nullified. |

Arrangement for bad weather / emergency
Participants should notice to weather report from radio or TV broadcast, visit the website or call at the hotline of the organizer to ask for the arrangement regarding bad weather. > Before registration
If Hong Kong Observatory hoist typhoon signal no. 3 or above, red or black rainstorm, or thunderstorm warning before 6:00am on 1st January 2006 or during the race, or other unpredictable reason that causes the race unable to carry on, the organizer has the right to cancel / stop the race, and initially postpone to 15 th January 2006.
> During the race
If facing bad weather during the race, participants should go to a safe place, then inform the organizer your location and wait for instruction or arrangement from the organizer patiently.
> Preparation before race |

The organizer highly recommends participants to start exercising 2 months before the race, so as to obtain the best result. |

A short jogging everyday can strengthen fitness and endurance. |

Sufficient sleep |

Care on food and beverage |

Trimming nails of toes 1 week before the race, so as to minimize the chance of injury when going downhill. |
